THE VERDICT

Medieval Times Orlando castle entrance in Kissimmee Florida

How much does Medieval Times Orlando cost?

We paid about $77 per person in March 2026. General admission is currently listed at $76.95 for adults and includes the roughly two-hour tournament, a four-course meal, and select nonalcoholic drinks. Alcoholic drinks cost extra. For dinner plus two hours of live entertainment, I do think the price is fair—even though I personally wouldn't spend it to repeat the experience.

What is the show actually like?

The arena is divided into colored sections, and each section roots for its knight. You cheer your knight through jousting, sword fighting and other parts of the tournament while a story plays out around the competition. There are also horses throughout the production.

Even though medieval-style entertainment isn't really my thing, I thought the story moved at a good pace and was intriguing enough to follow. The production itself was well done, and the audience participation makes it more fun than simply sitting and watching a two-hour show.

How are the seats and the view?

The arena uses stadium-style seating. Our view was good, and the seats were comfortable enough for the full two-hour show. Because you're looking down toward the central arena, it felt designed so the action could be followed from around the room rather than requiring one perfect seat.

What do you eat at Medieval Times?

Dinner is served while the show is happening. We had roasted chicken, corn and garlic bread as part of the included meal. The food was fine—not something I'd go back specifically to eat, but perfectly acceptable as part of the overall experience. Basic nonalcoholic drinks were included, while alcoholic drinks were extra.

Is Medieval Times good for birthdays?

One warning: it gets loud

The crowd was a mix of adults and families, but I wouldn't automatically recommend it for every young child. Between the cheering, music, fighting and overall arena atmosphere, it gets loud. Kids who love action and noise may have a blast; younger children or anyone sensitive to loud noises may not.

How early should you arrive?

We arrived only about 10 minutes early. There was a line to get inside, but that was enough time for us. Medieval Times opens the castle earlier for guests who want time to explore before the show, so arriving earlier may make sense if you want the full pre-show experience rather than just getting to your seat.

So, is Medieval Times Orlando worth it?

If you already think knights, horses, sword fights and cheering for your own team sound fun, I'd rate it closer to an 8/10. At roughly $77 including dinner, you're getting a full two-hour production rather than just a meal. If none of that sounds appealing, you probably don't need Medieval Times to convince you otherwise.

Worth It Rating: 4/10 for me | 8/10 for the right audience
